Pittsburgh Bridge Rigging & Maintenance

Downtown Pittsburgh with bridge

Pittsburgh is a city that relies much on it's bridges for major transportation. Home to 446 bridges, it has earned the title of, "The City of Bridges."

With a metropolitan population of over 2.5 million, Pittsburgh is the second largest city in the state of Pennsylvania. There are three major rivers that run through Pittsburgh: the Ohio, Monongahela and Allegheny. Without the various bridges throughout the city, Pittsburgh would just be a series of isolated valleys, hills and towns.

Many of the bridges can be found painted a yellow color called "Aztec Gold" to honor the city's colors and represent the major sports teams: Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates & Penguins.

Because of Pittsburgh's depedence on the vast amount of bridges, proper bridge rigging and inspection services should be mandatory.
